> Rockstar posts a printable map of Leonida on launch day. Until then it has named six places: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Grassrivers, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park.

Grand Theft Auto VI is set in Leonida, which Rockstar calls the Goodtime State, and its story is "a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida."[^1][^5] Everything below comes from Rockstar's own pages, checked on 6 November 2026.

## Every place Rockstar has named

**Leonida, as Rockstar has shown it**

| Place | What Rockstar has shown | Who's tied to it |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Vice City | The darkest side of the sunniest place in America, with neon-soaked streets. 27 screenshots and a postcard | Boobie Ike, a local Vice City legend, and Dre'Quan Priest, who has his sights on the Vice City scene |
| Leonida Keys | 7 screenshots and a postcard | Jason, who works for drug runners in the Keys, and Brian Heder, who still runs product through his boat yard there |
| Port Gellhorn | 7 screenshots and a postcard | Not stated |
| Grassrivers | 8 screenshots and a postcard | Not stated |
| Ambrosia | 6 screenshots and a postcard | Not stated |
| Mount Kalaga National Park | 6 screenshots and a postcard | Not stated |
| Leonida Penitentiary | Named in Lucia's story | Lucia, who served time there |

**Rockstar's screenshots of each place**

| | Screenshots |
| --- | --- |
| Vice City | 27 |
| Grassrivers | 8 |
| Leonida Keys | 7 |
| Port Gellhorn | 7 |
| Ambrosia | 6 |
| Mount Kalaga National Park | 6 |

Screenshots titled with each place in Rockstar's gallery of 138, counted on 6 November 2026. The rest show the characters.[^2]

Vice City gets more screenshots than the other five places together. Each of the six also has its own postcard among Rockstar's wallpapers.[^2][^3]

## How big is the GTA 6 map?

Rockstar hasn't given a size, in square miles or against GTA V's map, and its pages describe Leonida as the sunshine state without saying how far it stretches.[^1] Players have pieced maps together from trailers and screenshots, but the first map from Rockstar itself arrives on 19 November.[^4]

## How do I get the official map?

- **Free, on launch day.** On 19 November Rockstar adds a printable poster to its site as a free download, with the cover art on one side and a map of Leonida on the other.[^4]
- **As a poster.** Shortly after launch the Rockstar Store sells the double-sided poster for $0.99, or gives it free with any store purchase.[^4]
- **In the collector's box.** The Goodtime State Vice City Collection, $399.99 and marked coming soon, includes a souvenir poster with the full map of Leonida on the back. The game is sold separately.[^5]

## Does GTA 6 come with a map in the box?

No. The physical version is a box with a download code inside and no disc, and neither edition lists a map.[^6]
