# Phantom Blade Zero weapons: which ones players use and rate best

> Armybreaker is the weapon players call strongest, with Scarlet Wraithblade and Sanguine close behind once upgraded. Which weapons PC players have actually used, from Jagged Steel at 81% to Seamless Death at 7.2%, and what players like about each.

Phantom Blade Zero has more than 30 main weapons and 25 secondary weapons called Phantom Edges. You can upgrade and temper them, and reforge a weapon to get its materials back if you change your build.[^3] Players say almost every weapon works, so the right one is the one whose moves you like.[^2]

## The weapons players rate best

| Armybreaker | Its charge shrugs off most hits and staggers bosses, and with the dance fan players beat bosses without dodging. | Less useful in the second half of the game. |
| Scarlet Wraithblade | Tempered and upgraded, it shreds a boss’s Sha-Chi in seconds. | Weak until it’s upgraded. |
| Sanguine and Sanguine Reach | High damage and some of the best-looking moves in the game. | Needs tempering to shine. |
| Whiteshadow | Freezes enemies and has a stylish sword moveset, and some rate it above Crescent Blade. | Found late in the game. |
| Outlaw’s Warblade | Heals you as you hit, which carries the early game. | Falls off late, when talismans heal better. |
| Wooden and Bronze swords | Built around deflects, for players who parry everything. | Only as good as your timing. |

For a Phantom Edge, players single out the Thunder Spear for its damage, its paralysis and its combos.[^2]

## Which weapons players actually use

Each of these weapons has an achievement for using its signature move. The share who have it shows how many PC players have picked the weapon up and used it.[^1]

The share of everyone who owns the game on PC who has unlocked the matching achievement, read on 6 November 2026. It counts people who have barely played, so the first bar is never 100%. Weapons found later in the game have lower shares partly because fewer players have reached them.[^1]

## Upgrading

23% of PC players have taken a weapon to level 30 and 22% a Phantom Edge. 17% have tempered ten weapons.[^1] Players say upgrades change the order a lot, which is how Scarlet Wraithblade goes from weak to one of the best.[^2]
