Panel terms
These terms apply to everyone on the Creative Cult research panel. Joining means you agree to them, and to the privacy policy.
Who can join
You must be 18 or over. You confirm your age when you sign up, and we may ask you to confirm it again before a session.
How it works
Joining the panel doesn’t commit you to anything. When a study fits your profile, we email you an invitation that describes the session, what it involves and what it pays. You decide whether to accept.
Some studies need players at a particular level. For those, an unpaid 15-minute trial is required before you’re booked, to check that your skills match your profile.
Confidentiality
Before each session you sign a non-disclosure agreement. You must not share, record or describe anything you see or hear in a session, including the game, the studio and the questions, unless the NDA allows it.
Payment
Every session is paid. The amount, how it’s paid and when are set out in the invitation, and you accept them when you accept the session.
The 15-minute trial some studies require before booking is not a session and is not paid.
Taking part
Take part honestly and in good faith. Don’t share your invitation or send someone else in your place. We may remove anyone who breaks these terms or an NDA from the panel.
Your data
We handle your data as the privacy policy describes. You can leave the panel and have your data deleted at any time.
Leaving
Use the form on the panel page. Leaving doesn’t affect sessions you’ve already taken part in, including payment for them, or the NDAs you’ve signed.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top and email panel members before the change takes effect.
