Asmongold’s Roach Review #1: every game, and what players think

The Roach Review's official game list describes its picks as "games selected and reviewed by members of Asmongold's Roach Council."¹ The first list, Roach Review #1, is dated 29 July 2026 and has 33 games.² We follow how players are taking each one, from their own reviews, and the figures below update every day.

As of 28 October, 17 of the 33 games are out and 16 are still to come, several of them in 2027.

What is the Roach Council?

The Roach Council is the group behind the Roach Review. Its game list describes every pick as selected and reviewed by members of Asmongold's Roach Council.¹ We report what players who bought each game say, and leave the council's own reviews to the list itself.

The best-rated so far

Among the games with at least 500 reviews, players rate The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot highest, with 98% of 1,050 reviews recommending it. Stonemachia follows at 95%, then PAPERHEAD at 95%.

Every game from Roach Review #1

The figure is the share of each game's player reviews that recommend it, counted from players who bought it in the store, across every language. A game needs at least 50 reviews for a figure, and early access games are counted from their early access reviews. Each game's name links to its store page, where the count comes from, or to our own page when we have one.

Roach Review #2

The second list isn't out yet. We'll publish its games, with how players rate each one, once it is.
