Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival
Players call Saber Interactive's first-person game the most faithful adaptation the Hellraiser films have had. The Cenobites, Pinhead's voice and the uncensored gore win the most praise, and most players find it runs well, handhelds included. Its combat draws the most criticism, with clumsy melee, guns that feel light and enemies that spot the player inconsistently. Players who expected a fast action game also found more sneaking than the trailers showed. Most finish it in 9 to 11 hours and call $39.99 a fair price for that.1
It suits horror fans who want a story-led single-player game of about ten hours. What players say about Hellraiser: Revival
The Sinking City 2
Frogwares turned its Lovecraftian detective game into a survival horror game, and that change divides players more than anything else in it. Players new to the series, or after tension in the style of the Resident Evil remakes, enjoy the atmosphere, the puzzles and the pacing. Fans of the first game miss its open city and clue-led investigation, and many find the cosmic dread reduced to jump scares. Arkham's decay, lighting and sound win steady praise, while combat divides both groups. Many find 8 to 14 hours short for $49.99.2

Silent Hill: Townfall
Townfall moves the series to a fog-bound Scottish island, with a new lead and a first-person camera. Most players praise the fog, the sound, the puzzles and the story, and the new camera rarely draws complaints. Stealth decides the rest, because long waits and a pursuer the player can't kill turn some players against it. Players on PC report less stutter since patch 1.3.1.3

Halloween: The Game
Playing as Michael Myers is the best part of IllFonic's game, from stalking to the kills, and many players say the role feels like the films. The reviews players find most helpful mostly advise waiting. They describe stutter even on strong PCs, bugs that block story chapters, computer-controlled civilians who ignore orders and balance that swings with every patch. Crash reports are rarer in the latest reviews, written after patch 1.1.0.4
It suits fans of the films with a group of friends to play with. What players say about Halloween: The Game
