Final Fantasy Resonance tablet shards: all 99, and what they unlock

The shards are hidden around the world, and the in-game counter shows how many of 99 you have.¹ None are missable: players say you can revisit the whole world after beating the game.¹

How to spot them

• Look for a yellow glint and an examine prompt. Some only shimmer from one angle, so walk around anything suspicious.¹
• Check corners the camera hides. The shards players miss most are behind terrain or ledges, not in plain sight.¹
• On PC, a mod can mark them. Show Treasures In Radar puts chests, glowing items and tablet shards on the map radar.⁴

The ones players miss most

• Mt. Thunderclap: behind terrain at the back entrance to Ramuh’s Stele. It shimmers from only one spot.
• Olderion: near the entrance, by the canoe sailor on the right, hidden under a lip until you’re close.
• The arcane library: on the left, just past the packed tables at the entrance. Find the gap between the tables to reach it.
• The multi-fight challenge dungeon: on a secret staircase.
• The train stations: the station outside the city is a separate place from the one inside it, and each can hold a shard.¹

If the count looks wrong

Some players have checked every spot and still have 98. One thinks a shard didn’t count because a battle started as they picked it up, so don’t grab one with an enemy on you. Players say you don’t need all 99 for the shard achievements.¹
