WoW Forever dungeons and raids: every one, with its level and how to get in

Every dungeon below is new to WoW Forever and built for five players: a tank, a healer and three damage dealers.^1,5 You can run them with anyone on your ruleset and faction.⁶

WoW Forever raids

Three raids open on 9 December 2026, all for level 60 characters, and each is planned to reset weekly.^2,4

How do I get attuned for Onyxia's Lair?

Everyone in the raid needs the Drakefire Amulet in their bags to enter. It doesn't need to be equipped. You earn it through a quest chain for your faction that runs through high-level dungeons, so start early and bring friends for the elite quests.²

• Alliance. Start with "Dragonkin Menace" from Helendis Riverhorn in the Burning Steppes. The chain runs through Blackrock Depths and Stormwind, then Highlord Bolvar Fordragon sends you on "The Dragon's Eye", and it ends in Upper Blackrock Spire, where you take the Blood of the Black Dragon Champion from General Drakkisath.²
• Horde. Start with "Blood and Thunder" from Warlord Goretooth in Kargath, in the Badlands. The chain runs through Lower Blackrock Spire, Orgrimmar and Desolace, then four "Test of Skulls" quests for Emberstrife in Dustwallow Marsh, and it ends in Upper Blackrock Spire before Rexxar hands you the amulet.²

Onyxia hits hard with fire, so Blizzard suggests building up fire resistance before you go in.²

The new battleground: Darkspear Islands

Darkspear Islands, off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh, is a 15 versus 15 battleground for levels 30 to 60. Teams hold four capture points and fight over a flag in the middle, and the first to 2,000 points wins.³ Queue at a battlemaster in any capital city, or at the faction bases in the Barrens, Merchant Coast for the Horde and Northwatch for the Alliance.³ Battlegrounds can mix players from different rulesets, except Hardcore.⁶

Is there a dungeon finder in WoW Forever?

Blizzard's guides don't mention one. They point you to inviting nearby players, joining a guild or asking in chat.⁵ Olympus members can raise a flag for a dungeon group on the Olympus addon's Board.
